Uncle Ray’s is a true micro-creamery. We make three ice creams in small batches, fresh daily in our kitchen. Here are the top flavors for each of our product lines.
1. Soft Serve – smooth and creamy low on calories and big on taste. 95% fat free. Our top flavors – Vanilla-Chocolate Twist, Black Cherry, Orange Cream, Root Beer, and Go Green Apple.
2. Uncle Ray’s Ice Cream – hand-made and scooped. The freshest fruits, finest nuts and the sweetest cream. At 15% butter fat, it is classified as super-premium ice cream. You can taste the difference. Our top five flavors – Butter Pecan, Cookie Dough, Mint Chip, Cappuccino Crunch, and Chocolate Almond.
3. Frozen Yogurt – yogurt frozen to perfection and blended with fresh, natural fruits. 100% fat-free, no transfats and zero cholesterol. Our top five flavors – Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, Pineapple, and Banana. We have more than 100 flavor combinations.
Handcrafted Artisanal Ice Creams
Todd Durant is the resident ice cream maker. He creates up to 15 small batches every morning during the summer. That way it’s fresh, instead of buying it from a factory that stores it in freezers and ships it across the country. We’re a micro-creamery.
“In addition to vanilla, butter pecan is the best seller,” said Todd. “It’s made with a generous amount of buttered and salted roasted pecans. During the holiday season, our hand-layered Spumoni ice cream is a traditional favorite that customers wait for all year.”
Dave is the designer, visionary, and resident entrepreneur. He has created unusual sundaes including spaghetti (scoops of ice cream dipped in chocolate and nuts for meatballs, and yellow-tinted coconut flakes for Parmesan cheese), and egg-on-toast (a scoop of soft-serve on top of a slice of pound cake, topped with an apricot half for the yolk.)
Today, the Dairyland offers 100 varieties of frozen yogurt. Their Flavor Machine was designed by Uncle Ray. It allows the customer to create “design-it-yourself” treats using fresh fruits, nuts, peanut butter, sauces, etc. to suit one’s imagination. We’re told that some customers even bring their own fruit for their creations. Uncle Ray’s is known around the area for its five-foot long banana splits. “We once created one that was 150 feet long for a large group picnic. Not a Guinness record, but it sure was long!”

Dirt Sundae
A mound of creamy vanilla Soft Serve covered with a special blend of Uncle Ray’s dirt (Oreos). Watch out for that worm.

Uncle Ray's Award-Winning 5-Layer Cake
This one is a REAL TASTE-TREAT and the Ultimate crowd pleaser. This "masterpiece" is 9" round. 5" Tall. Cuts into (10) 3" wedges (That's a very Large piece) or (15) 2" wedges (Very Generous).
Our cakes are made with REAL Freshly-Baked Chocolate Cake (NOT a cookie-crumble) (1) layer of our Hand-crafted Super-Premium (15% Butter-Fat) Uncle Ray's Vanilla and (1) Layer of our Uncle Ray's Super-Premium Chocolate ice cream we make here right here in our store. The center is a delicious Rich and Cream Fudge Layer (a very generous amount). Then, every is cake is decorated by Paula (by hand) with Whipped-Cream (NOT Frosting). "Ohhhhh, Have your cake and ice cream too!"
